Veterans Services Referral Form
Our Veteran counseling groups are centered around building a support network encouraging each other to rebuild social connections. These are crucial for improving their overall well-being. Any Veteran receiving our services can attend these weekly meetings in Cherokee, Floyd, and Paulding counties. Call 1-800-729-5700 for more information.
Our Veterans Engagement Team helps Veterans by providing peer support, case management, and referrals to treatment services. These referrals are available to the Veteran and their family members. This Team of Veterans and Veteran advocates can also connect you to other resources outside of mental health. Currently, our Team is available in Cherokee, Cobb, and Pickens counties. For more information, call 1-800-729-5700. To fill out the referral form, go to Veterans Services Referral Form.

Our Promise to Veterans
Highland Rivers gives hope for Veterans living with mental health and/or substance use challenges. By using evidence-based services focusing on long-term recovery, we work with Veterans to improve their mental health and emotional stability.
Your mental health is a priority; therefore, we don’t turn away Veterans due to inability to pay or discharge status. We serve Veterans and their family members who may have limited income, resources, VA benefits, Medicaid/Medicare, or are uninsured.
Veterans often miss the camaraderie and sense of belonging they felt during their time in the military. This can lead to isolation, depression, and anxiety. Our Veteran-specific programs are designed to foster new bonds many formed with their fellow service members.
